Summer Works in Yuma
The Vision of Summer Works in Yuma is that the Yuma business community fully supports our educational partners and acknowledges the substantial contribution they make to the economic quality of our region. Our future growth requires an educated workforce that can only be sustained with quality teachers that are financially secure. This initiative will engage industry throughout the County and serve as a bridge to seasonal job opportunities exclusively held for teaching professionals within the incorporated school districts.
The positive impacts will result in exposing teachers to effective business practices, helping companies complete work tasks that have gone unfulfilled along with augmenting the limited financial resources offered to our educators. This will be an annual campaign that becomes a mutually beneficial relationship for both teacher and business alike.
