The Legislative Committee is an invaluable resource to Yuma County Chamber of Commerce members. Its mission is to monitor and research all levels of government and legislative activity affecting business, industry and proposed actions to the Chamber of Commerce. At the meetings, members share issues to develop and implement strategies to improve communication between lawmakers, policy makers, community leaders and business. Most meetings are attended by local, state, and federal elected officials or their representatives.
Meetings are the first Friday of each month when the Arizona State Legislature is in session and on the even numbered months the remainder of the year. Meeting attendance is by invitation only. The Yuma County Chamber of Commerce would like to thank APS for sponsoring the lunches for these meetings.
