Cenpatico Integrated Care is a new company that joins the best programs and services of two companies:



Cenpatico Behavioral Health of Arizona
and
University of Arizona Health Network.



These two health plans bring 25 years collective experience providing behavioral and physical healthcare in greater Arizona. Together we provide the highest level of integrated care to the members we serve.

Cenpatico Integrated Care offers a large network of both behavioral and physical health providers across southern Arizona. Our new company was awarded the southern Arizona Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) contract that will cover Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, La Paz, Pima, Pinal, Santa Cruz and Yuma counties, serving families eligible for AHCCCS as well as people eligible for state only programs and block grant programs. This contract is effective on 10/1/2015

Cenpatico Integrated Care will be offering whole person health care, providing both medical and behavioral services to people who have been designated as having a serious mental illness. Cenpatico Integrated Care firmly believes in recovery and that by treating the whole person, we empower members to improve their lives and be engaged in their community. Cenpatico’s programs include support tools to identify and assist members on their road to recovery. This is a process unique to each member and members’ are given many choices and supported to create their own unique goals. Cenpatico listens to the voices of our members and the communities we serve to improve lives and help people get healthy.




Who is Cenpatico of Arizona?

Cenpatico Behavioral Health of Arizona (Cenpatico AZ) held a contract with ADHS/DBHS to manage the behavioral health care services for Santa Cruz, Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, Yuma, La Paz, Gila and Pinal Counties. Cenpatico provided behavioral health services to members who are AHCCCS eligible with Title XIX and Title XXI benefits, and adults with serious mental illness (SMI). Cenpatico also provided state funded crisis services to all who live in the service area. There were also some block grant services we provide to people who qualify.




Who is University of Arizona Health Plans?

The University Of Arizona Health Plans (UAHP), a Managed Health Care Organization, is a division of The University of Arizona Health Network (UAHN). UAHN is a health system that includes the University of Arizona Medical Centers, the largest physician practice in Arizona and a high performing health plan.

The Health Plan has been a part of the AHCCCS program since 1985 as either a direct contractor to AHCCCS or as an administrator for another health plan. UAHP owns and operates University Family Care (UFC) and provides services for members in 10 counties in Arizona (urban and rural.) Starting on January 1, 2015 the Health Plan’s D SNP, University Care Advantage (UCA) will be offered through the UFC service areas. The Health Plan entered the Health Insurance Marketplace on January 1, 2014 as University Healthcare Marketplace and provides coverage to Arizona residents in 11 counties. UAHP is also the administrator for Maricopa Health Plan and Maricopa Care Advantage which is owned by Maricopa Integrated Health Systems.

UFC’s local presence and experience has allowed us to deliver effective care management, design our network to meet the needs of the members and improve health outcomes, especially for under-served and high-risk members. UFC will offer fully integrated Patient-Centered Healthcare Homes (PCHCH) that will improve care and outcomes for people with behavioral health (BH) issues.
